Wish to communicate with the inhabitants of the Lost World, or other worlds? Then log onto IRC....


          Well I'll be serious now, IRC means Internet Relay Chat, it is a type of communication over the net.  Once connected you are able to talk to people in REAL Time. So when the second you hit the enter key, the other people in the chat room see what you just typed and then they respond and stuff. All you need to do is pick the IRC server you want to go to(which there are many of them) and then go to it. Then go the the channel you wish to go to, or get a listing of all the channels and pick wich you wish to go to.
           IRC is very fun, at first you might look at it and just go "HUH!?" but after a while you get to know it....trust me...once you get on successfully and see what its all about you will NEVER want to go off  of it ever again.

Chatweb

Chatweb is friend owned IRC network. A network is a group of servers that are connected to make...a network =] ChatWeb is where I go to chat 'n stuff. There is where  most of my friends are. I have many friends there.

Once you get IRC just type /server <name of the server>  
An example would be like " /server irc.chatweb.org "
 Then click enter and it should connect you to it, or if your using mIRC, and a window pops up, just click on the server you wish to go to,
and click Connect. (I am not sure how IRCle works since I've never used it)

Once there you can type /list to get a list of all the channels avialable.

When you get online, type /join #LostWorld
This channel, and its page is probably about the only thing that relates to the movie The Lost World: Jurassic Park. I'm debating wether or not to leave it's theme the way it is, or change it toward the pages theme. Either way, this is the main chat room for Lost World.

    Just type /join #gargoyles    Then you will join the channel. There is always usually some one there, but if there isn't there will probably be a bot there.A bot is sorta like a user's puppet kind of thing...some people that have a way of being on 24/7 so if you get in gargoyles you will probably see a bot or 2 there,(bots have commands, and don't talk;) they just sit there unless you give them a command they are programmed with).

           Well in #gargoyles we really don't talk about the show, even though that is what the channel was meant originally for, but we still talk about it sometimes.(We don't have really much to talk about it since they are just reruns and Disney now has Gargoyles:The Goliath Chronicles, which is not very good, the animation is very bad, and the plots were no good :/  ) So we DO talk about the show...but it is mostly just mindless/pointless chat....as in we will just find a topic like..a movie we have just recently seen or other tv show..or ANYTHING we will start talking and talking...or...it will be dead..(but that doesn't happen often, mind you). Around 8:00PM and 12:00AM PST is around the busiest times there.Well if you decide to drop by....hope you enjoy your stay!
